Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter softened
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
What to do
- Preheat the oven to 190oC.
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Set aside.
- Using a handheld mixer, mix butter and sugars until fluffy.Add in eggs and vanilla, and mix again. Add in the dry ingredients and mix until well-combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well.
- Roll dough into balls, depending on the size of cookies you want, and place them evenly on prepared baking pan.
- Bake for approximately 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing them from the baking pan. Place them on the rack for about 10 minutes for them to cool further and serve with a glass of milk or tea
