  1. Cumin is a popular spice. It can be used both as the whole seed or ground. It is mostly paired with meats, beans, lentils, potatoes, rice.
  2. Cinnamon is an aromatic condiment. It is mostly used in curry recipes and can be paired with meats, pastry, rice and even beverages such as tea and coffee.
  3. Chilli powder is mostly used in meat marinades. It is also used to add flavour to curries, soups and stews.
  4. Curry powder is mostly used in curry and stew recipes to add flavour and colour.. It is a great flavour addition to meat marinades.
  5. Just a pinch of Cayenne pepper add not only for the reddish colour but also a sweet-spicy heat to your meats, egg dishes, and soups.
  6. Black pepper is a universal spice that can be added to meats, salad dressings, soups and stir-fry meals. Don’t forget to spice up your eggs too!
  7. Oh! I love the smell of fresh garlic while cooking. Fresh garlic can be used to spice up marinades, egg dishes, grains, soup, and even added directly when cooking meats or a stir-fry.
  8. Fresh ginger can be grated and added directly to meat marinades. It can also be used to spice up beverages such as tea and healthy smoothies.
  9. Garam masala is a popular spice used mostly in Indian cuisine. For daily cooking, use it to spice up curries, meats and soups.
  10. Turmeric adds the yellow colour pop in meat marinades, soups and curries. Due to its medicinal attributes, it is normally added to smoothies and homemade facial masks.
